If it weren’t for her help, the Fort St. John Hospital would likely still not have a CT Scanner.
The Hospital Foundation’s Janice Isberg has been instrumental in securing funding for the local facility for the past four years.
But, all good things come to an end, and Isberg will soon be leaving the foundation to take up a new career in Edmonton. Isberg will be working as the Education Program Manager for the Edmonton Waste Management Centre for Excellence.
But she says her heart will always be in Fort St. John. Of all the projects Isberg has worked on, she says watching the CT Scanner unveiled at the Hospital was her proudest moment.

In March, Fund Development Officer Ashley Bentley will be filling Isberg’s shoes. Bentley was recently chosen as the new Executive Director by the hospital board.

Bentley credits Isberg for helping to raise nearly $5.5 million dollars towards the hospital’s various projects. Bentley says she wants to continue with that fundraising trend.
As for Isberg’s advice for Bentley…
