Officials continue to work on the Enerplex kinks

Officials say they continue to work out the kinks in the Enerplex.

Director of Facilities and Protective Services Jim Rogers provided an update on the project at Monday night’s City Council meeting.

He says while there are deficiencies on the building, progress is being made to fix the problems. [asset|aid=2378|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=2de9a8d00622aa445f5e29e7711ad2cb-Jim Rogers – Enerplex Update_1_Pub.mp3]

So far, the first and second floor are open to the public, while the Northern Vac Walking Track on the third floor remains closed as permits still need to be obtained.

The Enerplex’s grand opening is slated for this September.
