Speed Skating Provincials underway at the Enerplex

The first sanctioned event on the Enerplex oval started Saturday morning in Fort St. John.

The BC Provincial speed-skating championships will see around 130 skaters from all over the province attend. In an interview earlier this week, Meet Co-ordinator Dee-Ann Stickel said "We’re very excited about hosting it" she says.   "It’s a beautiful facility, and we can’t wait to show it off."

Below are the results based on the sub total of points in each division after day 1.

We will have more detailed results once the meet wraps up on Sunday. The competition will continue on Sunday starting bright and early at 8am.
