Snow Removal debated by City Council

A story that comes up each year is still garnering a lot of attention from our readers.  Once again the City of Fort St. John is looking at ways to improve snow removal.  For more information read the following story.

Bright Flash over Hudson’s Hope

On Friday November 20th, 2009, the Hudson’s Hope RCMP recieved a number of phone calls about a bright flash in the sky followed by a loud bang.  The RCMP are still trying to figure just what it was, but most believe it was a meteor.

Taylor Man dies in Hot Springs

On Sunday November 8th, 2009, a Taylor resident died at some natural hot springs near Nakusp British Columbia.  The RCMP still haven’t released the final information from the investigation, but preliminary reports show that the man may have died from magic mushrooms.  For more read the stories below.

Pimm questions the need for the Charter

The Rotary Mega Lottery

The Rotary Mega Lottery came to a close on Saturday December 26th, as the final draw was made at the Totem Mall.  73 people got an extra special Christmas Gift from the Rotary Club of Fort St. John.  The Lottery raises hundred’s of thousand’s of dollars for charities in Northeast BC.
