Morrison is looking to improve after what he calls the worst race of this life, the 1,000m event on Wednesday.  In that event he was favoured to win a medal but ended up in 13th place.

The race will happen at 5:15pm Fort St. John time and you can see the race live on CTV.  Denny Morrison will start in the 16th pair and race against Ivan Skobrev of Russia.  Shani Davis will race in the last pair, the 19th, against Lucas Makowsky of Canada.

There are two other Canadian’s in the race, Mathieu Giroux and Kyle Parrott.
