The local RCMP is investigating a case of vandalism at a Highway 29 roadstop, between Fort St. John and Hudson’s Hope.

 

Constable Jackelynn Passarell has confirmed it occurred yesterday morning and there was structural fire damage at the lookout site….

Police received the fire call shortly before eight o’clock, but have no evidence of any injuries.

As of last report, they were still trying to determine the exact time the vandalized and abandoned, 1999 Dodge pick-up was stolen, early yesterday morning.
