Public invited to paint a flower pot

By Christine Rumleskie

If you’d like to see your art blossom on the streets of Fort St. John, the Community Arts Council is inviting you to paint flower pots for free.

Executive Director Tara O’Donnell says anyone interested can paint a flower pot that will be displayed in the downtown core over the summer months.

O’Donnell says paint is provided, and she encourages the artists’ imaginations to go wild.

Each flower pot is sponsored by a local business or organization, and later auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Fort St. John Community Arts Council.
