RCMP investigate church break-in

Officers with the Chetwynd RCMP are investigating a break and enter at the Moberly Lake Missionary Church.

Police say the incident happened sometime between January 29th and January 31st. The culprit(s) broke a glass window pane at the front entrance to gain entrance to the church.

It’s not clear if the suspects made off with anything, but police say many items in the church were "disturbed."

Police believe that the person(s) responsible may have traveled to the church on a snowmobile. The church is located on West Centennial Road in Moberly Lake.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788-9221 or call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
