An unlocked vehicle was temporarily stolen on Tuesday night.

A 1996 Green Chrysler Concorde was parked behind the Quality Inn on 100th Avenue.

The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

Police were called around 8:30 p.m., after the owner realized the vehicle was stolen. Officers recovered the abandoned vehicle at the intersection of 93rd Street and 97th Avenue.

The local RCMP detachment is looking for the public’s help in identifying the person(s) responsible for the theft.

RCMP is also reminding members of the public to lock their vehicles when left unattended.
