Just before 11pm on Saturday March 13th, the Fort St. John RCMP received a call that three males were stuck in a boat on the Peace River.

The males had been stranded on a gravel bar since earlier Saturday afternoon and were exposed to the elements.  A concerned friend was able to retrieve the boaters and help them return to shore safely.

No injuries were sustained and the RCMP will not be pursuing charges.
