The 19th annual ‘Bowl for Kids Sake’ is set for April 25th, and the organization is encouraging residents to register a team.

BBBS hopes to raise $25,000, which amounts to roughly a third of the local group’s annual gross revenue.

Executive Director Danielle Armstrong says the BBBS’s mentoring program continues to grow, and last year the group mentored the most kids in the organization’s 25 year history.

Up to 48 teams can take part in the fun tournament. Participants are encouraged to dress up in this year’s theme, which is ‘Hello Hollywood’.

Teams can collect donations through the fundraiser’s website at: http://fsj.kintera.org/bfks.

Armstrong says there’s still time to register for the tournament.

BBBS is also looking for sponsors in this year’s event. Sponsors can fund an individual team or purchase a platinum sponsorship, which includes support for the entire event.
