The Flyers are back on home ice this weekend, as they host the Prince George Senior Mohawks for a pair of exhibition games.

The two teams met for a single game in MacKenzie two weeks ago, with the Flyers winning 4-1.

"They’ve got lots of talent, and they bring a good skill level" says Flyers GM Rob Larson. "They haven’t been playing at a high level all year, so they’re a little bit rusty, but they definitely have some good players" he says, adding "it helps our game."

Larson says he is expecting several of the Flyers’ out-of-town players to be in the lineup for the weekend, including the Calgary-based Ryan Carter and Ryan Manitowich. Larson says Prince George’s Tyler Brough should be around for the Saturday game, making him a likely bet to centre Carter and Manitowich on the Flyers’ top line.

Goaltender Clayton Pool made his Flyers debut in the win in MacKenzie, and Larson expects Pool to start both games this weekend.

The games have unusual start times of 8 o’clock on Saturday night, and 1:30 on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are still available in advance at Ernie’s, or at the door.
