The Senior Flyers looked a little more Allan Cup ready, in a 7-1 win over the Prince George Senior Mohawks on Sunday afternoon.

After waiting until the final two minutes of the game to come from behind, and eventually win in a shootout on Saturday night, the Flyers scored early and often on Sunday.

Ian Munro notched a hat-trick, while Todd Alexander chipped in a pair. Ryan Manitowich also found the back of the net, while Kimbi Daniels scored in his Flyers debut.

Clayton Pool registered his third win in as many games in the Flyers net.

Both teams were playing with full benches, as the Flyers got some re-inforcements from the Dawson Creek Senior Canucks, and then lent defencemen Bryan Lewis and Tyler Loney to Prince George.

The Flyers’ next action is a two-game exhibition set in Whitehorse, on the 19th and 20th of March.
