The teams have been announced, the exhibits have been booked, and now organizers are tying up the loose ends in preparation for the 2010 Allan Cup.

Allan Cup Host Committee organizers took time out of their hectic schedules on Thursday to brief reporters about the upcoming competition.

Flyers president Paul van Nostrand predicts a lot of fans will want to come out and see the Stanley Cup, which will be on display on Wednesday, April 21st, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

There’s also confirmation that Olympic Gold Medalist Denny Morrison and his brother Jay Morrison will attend the Allan Cup on Tuesday, April 20th.

Meanwhile, van Nostrand says he’s confident that there’s going to be enough parking for all fans. People will be able to park at the Enerplex, the Pool, the Kids Arena or the North Peace Arena.

Organizers are still looking for volunteers for the event. Anyone interested can sign up by visiting www.2010allancup.ca

The Allan Cup competition takes place at the North Peace Arena from April 19th to 24th.
