Some of Fort St. John’s most deserving citizens will be awarded at the annual Community Awards Gala on Thursday night.

There are a total of 15 awards up for grabs ranging from ‘Corporate Citizen of the Year’ to ‘Athlete of the Year’.

100.1 Moose FM is in the running for Corporate Citizen of the Year award.

The gala will be held at the Pomeroy Hotel. Cocktails will be available beginning at 6:00pm with dinner served at 6:30pm. Guest performers include the Move Dance Centre and pianist Naomi Shore. Gail Weber will speak about her experience volunteering at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Visitor Information Centre, and City Hall.
