The Flyers completed the sweep of the Prince George Senior Mohawks on Sunday, to head into the Allan Cup on a high-note.

Fort St. John got a pair of goals from Kip Noble, as well as singles from Rod Stevens and Chris Stevens, in a 4-2 win.

After the line of Kimbi Daniels, Rod Stevens, and Chris Stevens had combined for six goals on Saturday (including four straight from Rod Stevens), GM Rob Larson says the unit is a good bet to be teamed up during the Allan Cup, possibly as the team’s top powerplay unit. He says Ryan Carter, Ryan Manitowich, and Tyler Brough are also a likely line, though Carter is expecting his first child next week, something that could complicate things.

Goaltender Clayton Pool played all three games in Prince George on the weekend, and is looking more and more like the team’s number one netminder heading in to the national championship.

The Flyers will play an intrasquad game on Wednesday night at 7:30 at the North Peace Arena. The public is welcome to attend, and admission is free.
