It’s called Parenting for the 21st Century, and conference organizer Lynn Locher says it aims to keep parents informed about the ever-changing times.

Kim Stewart will welcome guests as the keynote speaker. She will explain the relationship between media and children.

There will be workshops on nutrition, why some cancer rates are higher in the Northeast, and even one called "Understanding Internet Related Police Investigations."

It’s the third annual conference to date, and Locher says the conference keeps evolving every year.

She’s asking everyone to check-in at 8:30 a.m. at the North Peace Secondary School on Saturday, April 24rd. There is a free lunch, free babysitting and door prizes.
