Pat Ferris won the first stage of the Spring Race

Pat Ferris won the first Stage of the Spring Stage race with a Baldonnel time trial win. His time of 27:18 was only 2 seconds ahead of second place Les Elliott. Bob Andrews was third at 27:44. George Gamble was 4th at 28:50 and Jolea Bilodeau 5th at 28:59:39.

      Richard Howes was 6th at 28:59:42, Kevin Shaw 29:35, Barb Polehoykie 30:42 and Ken Nix 30:51. Floyd Polehoykie had 13:48 for the 8 km.

      After stage #1, the 2009 defending champion Pat Ferris leads the 25th Spring Stage Race with 7 more races to go. Tomorrow is a Beatton River Hill climb at 11:00 am and a 1 pm Frozen John road race. Saturday is a Beatton park to Mile 62 road race at 1 pm and Sunday is a Cecil lake road race at 1 pm.
