**Update:  Power was restored shortly after 7pm Wednesday night.  The cause of the outage is still under investigation.

Residents in the South Peace from just south of the Peace River to Sunset Prairie in the South and Farmington to the East have lost power.

The outage started just after 5:30pm and BC Hydro is currently investigating the cause.  Over 350 customers are without power and may have power again by 8pm.

Residents in this same area were some of the hardest hit during the freak snow storm last weekend.  They lost power Friday evening and didn’t get it back until Monday night.
