The Chetwynd RCMP is seeking public assistance, as it investigates two cases of vandalism, and a break, enter and attempted theft.

 

The latter occurred early Tuesday morning at the Redimix Enteroute in the South Peace community, where an employee reportedly interrupted a suspect trying to steal a company work truck.

Police are now looking for a Caucasian male believed to be about 50 years old, who fled the scene on foot.

They’re also looking for those responsible for extensive damage at two Chetwynd parks.

It’s believed forced entry to the washrooms at Cedar and Rotary Parks occurred, in the early morning hours of last Friday and Saturday.
