Hundreds came together Wednesday night to remember a young man taken to soon.

The gym at Duncan Cran school was full as friends, family and community members came together to share their memories of Teddy Luo. Teddy passed away after a hit and run accident on Tuesday May 11th.

Constable Jackelynn Passarell, of the Fort St. John RCMP detachment, stresses the investigation is still making progress. She says police continue to work their way through surveillance videos from businesses in the crash area, though she also points out, a case like this takes longer in real life, than on TV.

She says it takes time for police to acquire those videos, and then hours of time to go through each one, and then follow up on any leads than may have been generated.

Says the parents are devastated, and can’t wrap their heads around why whoever struck their son, has not come forward.
