Power should be fully restored in the Fort St. John area by 11pm Sunday night.

Hydro crews continue to make progress in the North Peace as only 30 customers are still without power, but that should be resolved by later tonight.

As for the South Peace, its a much different story.  There are still anywhere between 2,200 and 2,300 customers without power.  Crews have been making progress, but one of the big issues, is as they energize customers, another set of customers lose power.

Hydro is still optimistic that they can cut the number of people without power in half by the end of the day.  The remainder, they hope will see power on Monday.

Again if you live in the South Peace and an area affected by power outages, make sure you head into town and purchase supplies incase the outage lasts for even longer.
