Organizer Kelly Kassian says there will be an orientation session on Wednesday (6 p.m. at Kin Park) for all players. Participants will be given their uniforms and schedules, and also meet their teammates. If the weather co-operates, players will also get a chance to throw a ball around to get into the swing of the new season.

Kassian says ten teams are set to take the field this season, after a flood of registrations at the final sign-up session last Saturday.

More volunteers and sponsors are still needed for the upcoming season, and anyone interested can call (250) 785-0282.
