Over $100,000 has been raised for Cancer Research with the annual Relay for Life fundraiser.

For 12 hours on Saturday over 40 teams participated in the event at Dr. Kearney School. As of Sunday they had raised over $108,000 and expect more as pledge forms are turned in. There were over 320 participants and 25 volunteers who helped to make the event a success.

All the money raised will go towards the Canadian Cancer Society and their research to find a cure for cancer.
