The March/April precipitation total in the Fort St. John area was slightly more than average, with 44 millimeters recorded this year, as opposed to a two month norm, of 40.2 millimeters.

He notes the predicted June gloom has already hit parts of southern BC, and most of the province will begin warming by the middle of this month.

That’s right in line with the latest seven day local area forecast, which calls for high temperatures to rise above the seasonal norm of 15 degrees by Tuesday.

There’s also no precipitation predicted for the next week, and at the moment we’ve only had slightly more than one millimeter, in a month in which we receive on average about 40.
