5 members of the Sub Zero Track and Field Club travelled to Grande Prairie on Saturday, May 15 for the annual Hershey Track Meet.  They entered 14 events and won ribbons in all of them.  Leading the way was Danielle Harder with first place in the 400 m, 800 m and Standing Long Jump.  Right behind her was Adriana Shuster with first place finishes in the 50 meters and Standing Long Jump and 3rd place in the 400 meters.  Taylor Shenton won the 200 meters, placed second behind Adriana in the Standing Long Jump and also placed second in the 400 meters.  On the boys side of the meet Josiah Harder won a complete set of ribbons with first place in the 400 meters, 2nd in the 100 meters and 3rd in the Standing Long Jump.  Riley Moore placed 2nd in the 100 and 200 meters.
All 5 of these athletes have qualified for the Alberta Provincial Hershey Championships to be held in Edmonton on June 12.  Winners from the Edmonton meet could be invited to the North American Championships to be held in Hershey, Pennsylvania in August.

Next action for the Sub Zero Track and Field Club athletes will be the Alaska Highway News Track and Field Meet in Fort St. John to be held June 5.
