A two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon has closed the Cecil Lake road.

Initial reports suggest one of the vehicles was hauling grain at the time of the crash, and caught fire, before being extinguished by fire crews.

There is not yet any confirmation on any injuries or deaths resulting from the crash, just east of Goodlow.

The mid-afternoon accident has forced the closure of the 103 Road in both directions. A detour is in effect.  The road will be closed until at least 9pm Friday night.

Check back for more information as it becomes available.
