A pair of local high school athletes has qualified for the U.S. National High School Rodeo Finals.
Gaileen Babcock, riding a new horse, won the Pole Bending event at the recent Alberta championship in Ponoka.
Steven Culling, meanwhile, won the steer wrestling event.
The two will head to the National High School Rodeo Final, to face off against more than 1,500 other competitors in Gillette, Wyoming, from July 17- 24th.
