A refurbished bridge has improved safety and efficiency in the BC Peace.
Work on the new Bissette Creek bridge included replacing the old wooden bridge with a new steel and concrete structure.
The bridge, located on Highway #2 just south of Pouce Coupe, was also outfitted with a bike lane and pedestrian walkway.
The upgrades were completed earlier this month, at a cost of around $3 million.
The project also included moving the entrance to Pouce Coupe Park 25 metres south, and building a new frontage road for better park access.
