CORRECTION – The Vancouver Police incorrectly reported that Clifford Joseph was headed to Fort St. John.  What the press release should have said is Fort St. James and not Fort St. John.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a high-risk sex offender who could be headed for Fort St. John.

Vancouver Police issued that alert after Clifford Joseph disappeared on Tuesday from a halfway house in Vancouver.   The Police believe he could be on his way to Prince George or Fort St. John.

Police say he is currently on statutory release for aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping and unlawful confinement.

Clifford Joseph is an Aboriginal man, 5’9” tall, 160 pounds with acne scars on his face and tattoos of “hi” on his right hand and a squiggly line design on his right upper arm.

Joseph has last seen wearing  a white shirt and blue jeans on June 8th.

If you spot Clifford Joseph, call 911 immediately.
