While not wishing to cause undue alarm, Fort St. John police have confirmed, they did receive a complaint about 7.45 this morning, concerning a suspicious male walking through a field, near Central School.

The complainant also reported seeing an item in the man’s hand, that may have been a handgun.

He was last spotted walking westbound on 99th avenue, but an extensive RCMP search of the area failed to turn up a suspect.

Police say the man has been described as caucasian, and he was reportedly wearing a black and white plaid jacket, black pants, and sunglasses.
