RCMP still looking for tips in two major crimes

The local RCMP, still looking for public assistance in both of them, reports no new leads in two unrelated cases.

28-year-old Abigail Andrews disappeared April 7th, and was last since walking away from her Fort St. John residence.

She’s six feet tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has a tribal art tatoo on her lower back.

Her family, which established a Facebook site with photographs of the missing woman, also confirmed at the time of her disappearance, she was pregnant.

Meantime, the police search also continues for the driver of the vehicle involved, in a fatal hit and run incident back on May 11th.

A 14 year old cyclist received fatal head injuries, when he was struck by a red vehicle travelling westbound on 89th avenue, while riding with two friends on 76th street.

Police have still not been able to provide a definitive witness description of the vehicle which has been described as “boxy,” and may have received passenger side damage.

Once again the numbers to call if you have any information concerning either of these cases are 250-787-8140, or if you’d choose to remain anonymous 1-800-222-8477.
