Air Canada is expanding its flight service between Fort St. John and Vancouver.
Starting Sept. 7, the new flight will fly out of Vancouver at 10:45 p.m., arriving in Fort St. John after midnight. It will then continue its round trip to Vancouver at 6:20 a.m.
The flight will have the capacity to carry 50 travellers.
The added flight will mean that travelers will be able to catch Air Canada connections out of Vancouver to various North American and international destinations on the same day.
Furthermore, the added flight is expected to meet the growing demands of the city of Fort St. John as a business, leisure, and tourism market, according to Moira Green, the managing director of the North Peace Airport Services.
Currently, there are approximately four flights operated by the airline that fly out of the Fort St. John Airport every day.
