Construction has started on a 4.6 million dollar upgrade to the Braden Road.
Work started on August 3rd and will widen and hard surface the last portion of the Braden Road that is not yet hard surfaced resulting in a stronger, smoother, safer traveling surface for the oil and gas industry, local residents, and the traveling public.
The Braden Road is located 37km south of Fort St. John and connects Highway 97 with the John Hart Highway 97.
Work is expected to be completed by the middle of October and motorist could face up to 20 minute delays.
