The city of Dawson Creek and the village of Pouce Coupe will be under Stage 2 water restrictions beginning Friday.

Under the restrictions, residents with even numbered addresses may only water their lawns between 4 and 9 a.m. and 7 and 10 p.m. on Wednesdays. Residents with even numbered addresses can water their lawns at the same time on Thursdays.

If residents want to water newly seeded or turfed areas, they must purchase permits from city’s Engineering Department.

The city is also asking residents not to wash vehicles or outdoor surfaces during the ban.
