Library shhhhutting down in September

The Fort St. John Public Library will be closing for renovations and upgrades for most of September.

During this time, the library will be painted and the current carpets will be replaced with new floors.

The “Floor-Lift” means it will be closed from Sep. 7 to 26.

All library programs will resume in October.

Fines for overdue books will be suspended during the closure.

Residents are encouraged to take out as many books as they can before the renovations begin.

The library will be set to re-open on Sep. 28.
