Man charged in GP after hit and run

One man has been charged with several different offences in response to a vehicle hit and run in Grande Prairie Sunday morning.

The man was allegedly driving a Ford Taurus when he hit a parked car at around 7 a.m. and then left the scene on foot.

Police say the man was caught a few blocks away. During the investigation, police seized 6 grams of crack cocaine and over $2,000 in cash. The car had also been found to have been stolen from Clairmont, Alberta.
