Police searching for stolen lumber


The Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to find stolen lumber.

Eight lifts of MSR-grade lumber were stolen from a business between Aug. 18 and 29.

Each piece of lumber has a red stamp and are contained in packages with Millar Western wrapping with a “Millar MSR 1650” label.

The stolen lumber is a high-grad, stress-rated lumber and is valued at over $10,000.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
