RCMP expect more arrests in Beatton River party

On Wednesday, one month to the day after the incident, a man charged with a total of nine offences, will be back in court in connection with the Beatton River drinking party assault case.

Jordon Anthony Ramos is still in custody and faces four counts of Assault with a Weapon, one count of Assault, two counts of Possessing a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, one count of Possessing a Firearm while Prohibited and one count of Robbery.

The local RCMP is still gathering evidence and expects several more charges to be laid in connection with the incident.

Earlier two other people were arrested, but were later released, because according to police, at that time there wasn’t enough evidence to charge them.
