Fort St. John’s Under-18 ‘Northern Strikers’ soccer team won gold at the Alberta Provincial championship in Camrose on the weekend.

According to a newstip, the squad gave up only two goals in four games at the tournament, beating the Calgary Rangers 1-0 in the final.

It’s been a strong summer for the Northern Strikers, with the Under-12, Under-14, and Under-16 teams all having claimed gold at their respective provincial championships.

The Under-18 team’s victory means the Northern Strikers have finished the season by winning all four provincial championships they attended.
