Charges pending after Prince George crash

Charges against a 17 year-old driver are pending after a vehicle collision on Friday in Prince George.

RCMP were called about a collision between a Nissan Truck and another vehicle around 9 p.m.

Police say the driver of the truck was driving fast through a back alley and then failed to stop, hitting the other vehicle.

The 25 year-old driver of the vehicle that was hit was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital in critical condition. The two other occupants of the vehicle were not hurt.

The Nissan’s passenger was unhurt in the crash.

Police say they are still continuing their investigation but alcohol and speed are considered to be factors in the crash.
