Grande Prairie pedestrian collision


In the Alberta Peace, a 50 year-old Grande Prairie woman was injured in a weekend traffic accident in that city.


The victim allegedly tried to walk across a street against a red light and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 19 year-old Grande Prairie man.

The woman was first taken to Grande Prairie hospital but was later transferred to an Edmonton-area hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

The incident occurred about 10:40 p.m., Saturday.
