World Champion Cody Snyder brings Professional Bull Riding to The Peace Country DAWSON CREEK, BC (September 1st, 2010) – On October 16th, 2010, World Champion Bull Rider Cody Snyder has teamed up with the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) to bring the Peace Country PBR Invitational Bull Riding to the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek. This is not a rodeo; it’s the Toughest Sport on Earth! All for one price you will witness firsthand the best bull riders in the world as they take on the rankest bulls on the planet followed immediately by the “In The Dirt After Party” with the hottest band in the North, the Deere John Band. Don’t miss all of the action as the biggest bull-riding event ever to hit the Peace Country rocks Dawson Creek for one night only. “Not only is the PBR a tremendously exciting sporting event and entertainment spectacular,” commented Cody Snyder, “but holding it in the Peace Country in October is a great way to celebrate the end of fall harvest and to kick off the start of what looks to be a banner year in the oil patch”. Tyler Thomson (Black Diamond, AB), current PBR Canada season leader; reigning Canadian PBR Champion Beau Hill (West Glacier, Mont.); Canada’s current #1 ranked bull rider Aaron Roy (Asquith, SK); PBR World Finals Champion Luke Snyder (Raymore, Missouri); plus many other top professional bull riders are among the 35 riders participating. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. The Deere John Band begins immediately following the bull-riding event. This event will also feature world class bulls from six of Canada’s top stock contractors, including the unridden bull Even Money (Outlaw Buckers), 2009 Canadian Bucking Bull of the Year Slash (Tumblin Dice) and the home coming of the Peace Country’s own Canadian Champion bull rider Justin Volz’s as he brings to town his Wild Hogs bucking bull outfit bull called Hillbilly Deluxe. Also up for grabs at the Peace Country PBR Invitational is over $25,000 in prize money, the biggest one-day payout in history for a bull-riding event north of Edmonton.
