Police investigate vehicle break-ins

Grande Prairie RCMP are warning drivers to lock their vehicles. Police say there have been five incidents between Oct. 11 and 20 in the Silver Pointe Village area.

Some of the stolen items include change and personal documents, as well as electronics like cameras, GPS units and iPods. They say three of the five vehicles that were broken into had been left insecure.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to contact the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment at 780-830-5700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
