Prince George/Peace River Tory nomination race update

There is now a four man field in the race to succeed retiring Jay Hill as the Prince George/Peace River MP.

Mr. Stoltz has lived in Northeastern B.C. for 43 years, and has owned a small business in the region for 19 of them.

He joins three Fort St. John Candidates in the field.

They are city councilors Don Irwin and Dan Davies…and Bob Zimmer, the current CEO of the local Conservative Electoral District Association.

In a related development, Councilor Irwin…who has just completed a two month – August and September term – as acting Mayor…will now request on Tuesday, a two month Leave of Absence from city council, to devote more time to his campaign for the Tory nomination.
