Suspicious person in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP are advising of a suspicious person reported to the detachment on Friday October 15 at 5:25 p.m. near Lions Park at 100 Street and 91 Avenue.

Police say that a 10 year old girl and her friend were delivering newspapers when they were approached by a male (on foot) with a dark complexion, dark shaggy shoulder length hair and wearing a dark blue or black jacket.   Reportedly, he told the children to come with him, at which point they ran from the area.
