B.C. Hydro will be holding public information sessions in both Hudson’s Hope and Taylor to give a progress update on its efforts to meet the Peace Water Licence Requirements.

The Crown Corporation reports that it has been working on various studies and projects under the River’s Water Use Plan to ensure it will meet the licence requirements.

The meetings will outline how the company uses water from the Peace River, says B.C. Hydro Community Relations Co-ordinator Bob Gammer.

The first meeting will be held at the Hudson’s Hope Community Hall in Hudson’s Hope on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The second meeting will be held on Wednesday at the Taylor District building at 7 p.m.
