In addition to the cheque, the CIBC, in partnership with the United Way, is also holding their third annual Coat Hamper campaign. Starting Friday, the CIBC will be collecting gently used scarves, toques, mitts and coats for those in need. They will also be accepting non perishable food items. Those interested can also make cash donations at the branch.

The items will then be brought to the Salvation Army and then distributed to families in need. The CIBC is encouraging area residents to join the campaign.
