Abbeyfield House in Fort St. John is holding a craft and gift sale, along with a silent auction to raise money for the senior’s residence.

Some of the items for the silent auction include a tool kit, area rugs, picture frames and a $150 gift certificate to a bed and breakfast in Grande Prairie. The Christmas craft sale will include various homemade items.

This year, the House will also hold a new and used sale, says Ann Bergen, vice-president of Abbeyfield

Bergen says one item they will be selling is an antique table.

She adds that Abbeyfield is a not-for-profit organization and the money earned from the fundraiser will go towards paying down the home’s mortgage.

The sales and silent auction will be held at 8112 96 Ave. on Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
