Nightmare in Edson As Pups Lose 7-0


Fort St. John found out the grim answer to that question in Edson, Alberta in a 7 – 0 loss tonight. The short staffed Pups were in town to visit the Whitecourt Wolverines however, winning the opening face-off was about the only gratuitous offer extended by the hosts.

 7 goals later and the Huskies were left licking their wounds after this one. Wolverines leading scorer Cloutier had 4 points ( 2 goals and 2 assists). Panasiuk had his second shutout in net against the Huskies this season (blanked FSJ 7-0 in October.) Dane Pederson was awarded the Huskies player of the game in a losing effort. 

The Huskies won’t have much time to regroup as they face the Slave Lake Wolves LIVE on 100.1 Moose FM and on www.energeticcity.ca . Mike Feeney has the call as the Huskies Pre-Game show gets going at 1:45 pm and the puck drops at 2:00 pm
